  • INTRODUCTION
    When developing a new design concept for axial machines, we began to look for our own algorithm and design procedure and also searched for errors and shortcomings in typical design from modern manufacturers of axial motors. We have found that all axial motors with any number of rotors and stators, with their various types and combinations in the machine, are designed and built with a number of recurring design system errors. Having discovered these shortcomings, we made a scientific discovery that falls under the definition of "the establishment of previously unknown, but objectively existing patterns, phenomena, properties, established and accessible to verification, and making changes to the level of scientific knowledge." Our discovery relates to axial machines and creates new principles and procedures for their design.
  • MAIN ISSUES
    When building axial machines, the main requirements are dictated by their consumers, primarily EV - the automotive industry and the aviation industry - eVTOL, eSTOL, eCTOL, as well as various UAV (UAV) manufacturers. Their main requirements are logical and clear - maximum power and efficiency with minimum weight and size. All manufacturers of axial machines try to fulfill these conditions by following the beaten path when in the minimum volume and with the minimum mass of the motor, the maximum magnetic interaction between the rotor and the stator is achieved by increasing the power density, voltage and current , as well as by improving the characteristics of power electronics and electric drive controllers. All these actions lead to a large release of excess thermal energy, respectively, there is a need to create complex and energy-intensive technologies for cooling axial machines, negative conditions are created for overspending energy consumption, as well as heat losses, and emissions that create a greenhouse effect.

    System errors were diagnosed and eliminated, which made it possible to reduce heat loss by 70%, as well as to detect a general design error that increases the excessive consumption of energy consumed in axial motors.
